SN11 (57), USA Mar 31, 2009 Tastes like creamy strong coffee. No presence of hops whatsoever. This is not how I like my beer. ODB1518 (6), Minnesota, USA does not count Mar 30, 2009 Without a doubt the stand by stout of choice. Not the most complex stout (especially here in the States) but is always a good one to share with friends. Good strong high rise creamy head and strong roast flavor. A great everyday Stout. shawnm213 (882), South Bend, Indiana, USA Mar 30, 2009 Updated: Sep 3, 2009Draft at fiddlers hearth. From autentic source. Black colour with a brown everlasting creamy head, a taste it, and that was very roasty. Caramelic aroma, smooth malty flavour, a bit watery texture. Average stout, and really drinkable. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA Mar 25, 2009 Bottle. Nice dark brown pour with a creamy off-white head that had good lacing and some lasting. Roasted malt aroma. The flavor found caramel, molasses, roast, and chocolates. Medium body with a sweet malty aftertaste. aguyintx66 (78), Humble, Texas, USA Mar 25, 2009 Can. Poured a dark brown almost black with a thick creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt. Tastes of creamy roasted malt. Very smooth and very drinkable. djaeon (15), Chula Vista, California, USA Mar 24, 2009 Pours opaque brown, almost black, with a thick creamy two-finger head. The "cascade" is there, but doesn’t last as long as when it comes out of a tap. Excellent head retention and some lacing.
Smoky, roasty malty aroma. Not a strong smell on this one.
Kind of bitter, roasted malt. Standard stout taste.
Smooth and creamy. Goes down easy.
Very drinkable. You could stick with this one all night easily.
