guyinchicago (516), marengo, Illinois, USA Dec 28, 2008 On tap beer pours with an amazing nitro charge fomr top to bottom as the bubbles start to form a dense thick head aroma of roasted malts and coffee I dont believe I havenot rated this one yet taste is average of roasted malts coffee and dark choclate under tones one truely easy drinking stout bradlyc77 (226), Sebastopol, California, USA Dec 27, 2008 Nitro can. Pours dark brown/black with nice 1 inch head that stays around. Nice chocolate, roasted malt flavors with hint of coffee. Minimal hops. Light bodied for a stout makes for a great drinkable session brew. aetheon (55), Beer Dungeon, Minnesota, USA Dec 27, 2008 interesting pour, I saw parts that looked almost milky, and then black. Once poured, its an almost black color, with a thick retaining head that looks great. The aroma is nice. The flavor is light hops up front and roasted barley, dark coffee notes with some hops through to the finish. Almost no carbonation - which I do not care for. Overall generally light with not much body, that combined with no carbonation just doesnt do much for me. cgreb (173), Marburg, Germany Dec 26, 2008 bottle - black beer with creamy beige head. Aroma of roasted malt. Some coffee and roasted malt flavour. kiefdog (1567), Tampa, Florida, USA Dec 24, 2008 33cl bottle from Publix Supermarkets (Tampa, FL). Pours a dark black, completely cloudy with thick tan head. Good retention and lacing. Aroma is sweet and roasted malt, coffee, dark ripe fruit, dark chocolate. Flavor is sweet and roasted malt with a milky, creamy texture, some coffee, dark chocolate, spice. Generally full body with a slightly sweet, slightly bitter coffee finish. lithy (1600), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Dec 24, 2008 Nice nitro pour with a brownish swirling tan that settles to a much darker brown with a finger of permanent creamy eggshell head. Nitro aroma, thin roasted malt and chocolate. Taste is mostly roasted on a very light body. Decent beer available at many beer wastelands. tarheels86 (704), Washington DC, USA Dec 18, 2008 On tap. Pours a deep ruby with a one-finger ultra dense cream head from the nitrogen added. Great lacing. Aromas mostly subdued but there is some bread, chocolate malt, and coffee. Taste is a little watery and thin- perhaps the easiest drinking stout I have ever tried. Nice balancing hops creates a neutral aftertaste. altacyr (144), Campinas, Brazil Dec 6, 2008 Um clássico das cervejas. A aparência é única, e o sabor encorpado e forte, com o inesquecível amargor.
