Dark brown to black with a thick and creamy tan head. Aroma is thin, but contains roasted notes and fruit. Taste: roasted, some coffee, fruit, a light acidity, maybe some licorice. Overall, the taste is too thin and a bit watery. Smooth mouthfeel but really thin. Guinness has never been a favourite, but is always a good choice in bars with a boring beer selection.
The best pint I’ve had was in the Irish cultural centre in Hammersmith.

So dark and pretty but not so great. So harsh and bitter. Why does everyone like this? No.

I love Guinness because of what it represents, and the fact that I’m Irish. It doesn’t taste terribly amazing, but it’s ancillary, the Guinness Extra Stout, is quite good.

Pours a very dark brown, with a foamy white head. Roasty flavor, with coffee and chocolate notes. Mild bitterness, quite rich and complex.

For my 900th rating one of my favorite beer, on tap in Dublin. A dark beer with typical creamy deep head with an amazing coffee aroma. Intense roasted aroma and coffee with a creamy body, perfectly balanced, a perfection for a low alcohol beer nice dark chocolate finish.

One of my favourite beers. I really like bubbles inside which are arranged in gradient way from top to the bottom. Taste is also something which you just cannot forget.

Tap @ Finnegan’s, Bergen. Pours a pitch black body with the distinct beige Guinness nitro, fingersize-head. Aromas of mild sweet rosted malts. Silky smooth and creamy mouthfeeling, hints of coffee, a bit watery texture and a nice roasted and medium bitterish finish. The "king" of the dry stouts and a really nice brew.
