JoeyPants (4), statesboro, Georgia, USA does not count Sep 9, 2008 Come on.... it’s guinness. At the moment I am drinking it out of the bottle which is less pleasant that on tap or from the can. I dont feel like repeating what is well known so ill sum it up in one sentence: It’s dark and heavy but light, slightly bitter but creamy, and delicious. jeremyd365 (109), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA Sep 7, 2008 Poured from the pint-sized can. Poured the usual (but wonderful) cascading tan head until it was dark brown with a solid tan head that stays around for the long-haul. Smell is chocolatety with perhaps a hint of coffee. The mouthfeel is heavy with a strong coffee and chocolate aroma even before swallowing. It finishes with a solid aftertaste of the same and is very drinkable. bsm80 (144), Massapequa, New York, USA Sep 7, 2008 Thick and unique, this is one of a kind IF you get the right pour (C02 ratio) or if you pour yourself from the can. Thick, black pour with a perfect tan head, caramel, chocolate, smooth as it gets; this is liquid dessert. ZazuH (42), Brentwood, California, USA Sep 7, 2008 Updated: Feb 10, 2009Can. Earthy, dark roast aroma. Wonderfully thick, creamy tan head leaves great lacing. Flavor is dark espresso w/ a slight hint of peaty smoke, but finishes dry. Creamy palate w/ a slight metallic mouthfeel at the end. hyperion886 (3), , Pennsylvania, USA does not count Sep 6, 2008 A surprisingly smooth dark beer leaving no bitter aftertaste. This is surely a classic that any beer drinker would like, even if you arent a fan of the dark kind. A must taste! Necron99 (19), Clermont, Florida, USA Sep 3, 2008 A classic beer, pours black with a creamy head. Light malt aroma. Thick and creamy roasted malt flavor. Slightly milky and metallic finish, but still smooth. Hard to beat a good guinness. Lubiere (4463), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Sep 2, 2008 A dark clear brown stout with a creamy nitro light moka head. A light chocolate malt aroma, coming more clearly as beer warms up (served way too cold). In mouth, a nice peaty malt, roasted notes, especially when imbibing the foam. Lighter bodied, but overall, much superior to what we get in Canada. On tap at O’Neill’s, terminal 3, Heathrow. Mid Nov. 2006. JuStuka (187), Edo De Mex, Mexico Sep 1, 2008 Dark color, creamyness on top, taste was very smokey with a touch of coffee
