Guinness Draught

Poured from the bottle a very dark color. Head slowly flowed up large and creamy. Very pleasant aroma, but not much taste. Very smooth and thick.

Nitro can. Pours pitch black and the head erupts from the bottom. Aroma is mild roasted malt. Flavor is very subdued roasted, chocolate, coffee malt. Palate is super smooth and not very carbonated. Over all it is rather boring and flat tasting. What flavor is there, is good however.

Pours dark brown with a giant, cream colored, flowing head. Tastes bitter yet smooth with notes of coffee and cigar smoke. As far as mass-produced brews go, this is at the top of the heap.

A watery, weak stout with not much flavor or complexity to it. Feels like a domestic light beer on the palate. Not something I like to drink much, usually combine it with baileys and jamisons for an Irish CarBomb :) I have to do another rerate...don’t know if it’ll make it worse but the only way to be able to drink this is if every sip has foam. As for flavor and aroma, there isn’t much. Appearance, when poured correctly does look nice.

A great beer. Perfect black colour with a large off whtie head. Frothy and smooth drinking. Tones of chocalate, coffee, mollasses and malts. Aftertaste is non-existant.

There are some flaws in this beer, but for a mass market product there is none greater.

Excellent beer, a little too expensive in Romania :( ... i choose it each time i find it at promotions :P

(Draught at Gravity Bar on 2008-07-02) Black. Medium-sized dense lightly tan head. Roasted malts and coffee in nose. Full and dry palate with some carbonation. Roasted malts, hint of coffee, tiny hint of chocolate. Some burnt taste. Slight bitterness in aftertaste.
