I’ve probably had this 1,000 times and have never rated it. Last night had one at Kelly’s Irish Pub in Oakland Park, FL. Pint glass. Pours a deep black with a pillow of off-white head. Aromas are mostly roasted or slightly burnt malts and so mild hops. The taste is fine for what it is. Mild flavors overall, but solid balance between the roasted malts and the hops. Mild finish. Slightly bitter at the end.

This is a mass produced and marketed beer that actually holds up. Good flavor, mouthfeel and presence. A beer I can get just about anywhere and know I will enjoy it.

Tap. Perfect beige head. Coffee, chocolate and dark bread in aroma. Bitterness low, delicate taste of roasted barley. Very drinkable. What is wrong with their marketing staff? Why extra cold? Makes no sense absolutely.

Beczka w Guinness Storehouse / Gravity Bar (piwo nalane przeze mnie - perfect pint :-), Dublin. Zapach lekko palony, chlebowy, ale nie wyrazisty. Kolor prawie czarny. Piana obfita, kremowa, bardzo drobna i trwała. Goryczka dość niska. Pijalność wysoka :-).

On tap. Black colour with small beige, creamy, thick head that lasts. Soft carbonation. Aroma of roasted malts. Taste is malty with hints of coffee. Roasty, bitter aftertaste. Overall exellent beer, a real classic. But way better on tap than from bottle or can.

Heard a lot of this one. nice medium tanned head that lingers; medium roast malty aroma with some coffee. has an intense roasted taste of malts, coffee and some chocolate, some caramel and dry-bitter aftertaste. im not that much into dry stouts. but pretty nice alltogheter

Guinness Draught in a can. The aroma is way lighter than my delicious Foreign Extra. Smells of very light caramel and burnt malt, with a slight hint of molasses. The appearance is excellent, as it’s a nice dark brown with an excellent head. The taste is Guinness light. Great for drinking with a meal, as it won’t overpower the food. Good cold as an after work drink as well. Palate is on the watery side tho, so no sticky lips - goes down easy. Personally I like this beer as a stout to have when you’d like something with flavor but aren’t up to a full blown Guinness. A nice session brew,... I’d luv to go out and have it on tap. My score looks negative, but I’d definitely choose to drink this again.
