Pours dark black into a creamy head which never really dissipates, but fades into lingering heavy lacings on the side of the glass. Aroma of creamy yeasty hops and malty barley. Tap is preferred, but bottle is easily available everywhere. Never get used to the widget in the bottle though.

Like taking the tap with you. Draught can be enjoyed anywhere. Much better than the stout. Delicious.

440 mL Nitro Can specifically labeled "draught". Anyone who has seen the Guinness commercial will know the real thing holds true to its advertised image. The glass looks like it’s getting filled with chocolate milk shake during the pour until the extra fine carbonation settles up into a beautiful creamy off-white head that clings thickly to the sides of the glass as it is sipped, hiding the surface from the top of the glass all the way to the end; the ultimate example of beauty in beer. Aroma is toasted malt and grains with a hint of coffee, a slight syrupiness to it and a slight tang that is fitting to a dark beer. The flavor (and a full flavor at that) is toasted malt with an aftertaste that is like good black coffee, yet not too overpowering. Smooth in the mouth, it holds to the tongue like a firm but velvet hand. Not a complicated beer but a benchmark for those who like dark beers with taste and character. A toast to my Irish ancestry. Those Irishers sure can make good beer! G for Goddess, G for Guinness

The stout from which all others are compared. The biggest problem with Guinness is how full it makes you, it’s a meal replacement in a bottle.

- deep dark black color, creamy – foamy head, roasted malt aroma, light hoppy smell and whiffs of burnt chocolate; very smooth flavor, roasted and burnt, creamy burnt chocolate is noticeable, dry and bitter

Great creamy drink. Although it is expensive, it is well worth it. Not a beer to get drunk off of, but a good social relaxing beverage.

A great, creamy stout. Have a pint and see that it’s not so much a beer as an experience.
