5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 budweiserblows (35) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - DEC 5, 2005What can you possibly say about a beer like this? It’s Guinness! Every time I even think about this beer I start to salivate. Oh and just a quick random fact, hold a pint up to a light one day and you’ll be surprised to see that it’s actually the darkest shade of red you’ve ever seen.

Draught at pub. Classic Irish beer. Always love one of these. A tad watery, but a very nice stout. Coffee, a bit roasted, some hints of caramel.

Very thick head that lasted longer than the beer. Malty, mildly hoppy and bittersweet. Slightly chocloatey flavor that became more pronounced as the beer warmed

Tradição e certeza de coisa boa, a secura e o equilibrio que não deixa predominar café ou chocolate fazem dela um clássico sempre presente em minha geladeira.

I’ve got to admit that Guinness is best served from the tap in Dublin. Aroma is chocolate and mild roast. First taste is deliciously decadent like double chocolate cake. Now the love wears off as the nitrogen begins to settle. Flavors flatten out and the finish is clean but less remarkable. I highly recommend travelling to Dublin and trying for yourself.

Opaque dark brown pour with a lasting tan head. Lackluster nose of light chocolate and coffee with a hint of licorice. I forgot how strange the palate is on this stuff. It’s quite light and aspires to be silky but falls short. Flavours are all watered down.

can..Dark brown pour with creamy tan head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is grains, grass, some chocolate. Lt/med body, low carbs. Sweet caramel and pale malts with some woodsy/ earthy flavor. Overall, it’s just ok.

Not the same as it used to be, or my taste buds changed. Used to be more thick and oily, more strong flavors and a good bitter kick. Seems to me they made it more easygoing for a wider public. Is much more watery now, lost a lot of the strong flavors. It’s still nice, refreshing even nowadays, but not as special and good as it used to be. I prefer the export version now which seems to be more like the older original version with more flavor.

Poured in english pint glass, thick and black with decent head. One of my older favs and still enjoyed. I find it easy now to have this on hand for friends as it is more well known now and not all my friends are explorers when it comes to beer.

The first alcoholic drink I have ever enjoyed, thick, creamy malt best enjoyed cold and straight from the tap. Frothy head rests softly on the dark brown/black liquid. A fairly heavy taste, more than a few pints can be very filling.
