From can. The can basically erupted beer when I opened it. Pours pitch black with a coffee froth head. Laces nicely and the head sticks beautifully. Aroma of coffee and soft cheese. Flavour is rather weak. Predominantly coffee with bitterness around the sides of the mouth. Body is thin and watery. Very little carbonation. Clean and crisp, but lacks flavour or distinctiveness.

Oct 1, 2008 Pours a dark brown with creamy tan head. Aroma is largely nutty. Body is creamy but not thick. Flavor is nutty with malt notes but not strong or overpowering. Bitter undertones.

Sep 30, 2008 16 oz. can. I love beer, but I can’t get down with Guinness, is something wrong with me? Looks beautiful, but I can’t get over how flat this brew is. Some horseradish or soy sauce flavors way down there...Thick and dark.

Sep 29, 2008 Well what colour do you think it is? Classic stiff ’moustaching’ head. Strong roasted barley flavour and with hops and yeast coming through. Malt finish. Lovely.

Sep 28, 2008 Aroma: Roasted malts, muted by the dense head. Appearance: Mud-brown froth rolls with effervescence, finally settling down into a black body with a dense beige head. The head never fully dissipates, and fully coats the far side of the glass. Flavor: Molasses-like roast malts, not strong, nicely balanced by bitterness. Palate: Creamy-smooth, but not at all heavy.

Sep 26, 2008 Nice taste - slightly dark roast coffee - esque, but it is just a bit watery. Love the creamy texture and it’s just so smooth throughout. A very easy beer to drink.
