COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nitro-can, nitro-keg and nitro-bottle; Filtered
Usually called Draught; sometimes called Cold or Extra Cold - same beer, but served colder. Abv ranges from 4.1 to 4.3 % depending on where it was brewed (Guinness exports a hopped and concentrated wort to regional breweries who then brew it on site).
Launched in 1961.
Ingredients: Pale ale malt, about 25 to 30% flaked barley, and about 10% roasted barley, with no other grains or sugars; several hop varieties, mainly Goldings (pellets and isomerized extract); a flocculent head-forming ale yeast.

I love dark beers occasionaly. Going from a light beer to a dark beer is like going from soup to steak. Light is just swallowed. With a nice thick dark beer like guinness you gotta chew it!

Almost black beer with a two-finger width beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee and dark chocolate. Taste begins with a sweet note, some spice and then develops into coffee. Maybe little too watery. The aftertaste is quite bitter.

14.5 ounce can with the nitrogen widget thing. Poured at an angle and at refrigerator temp into a 20 oz. mug. As usual, the nitrogen bubble induced head....long lasting and totally luscious! Body of the beer totally opaque. Little carbonation. Dry palate with notes of cocoa and vanilla ice cream. Very tasty. I’m gonna have to start drinking this more often!

W aromacie lekka kawowość z kwaskowością na czele. Piwo barwy ciemnej z piękną brązowawą pianą. W smaku lekka kawa zbożowa, może gdzieś trochę kakao, kwaskowe no i dosyć puste w finiszu. Może być, lecz zbytnio nijakie.
