2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at Ølbutikken - thanks for the taste. Almost black - offwhite head. High, far too high carbonated, a bit like carbonated water - too thin and watery. Roasted, light burned, berries, sweetness, licorice. Boring !!

Thanks to Badgerben for sharing. Pours a nice auburn black with a nice tan head. Nice sweet banana, light toastiness, and ripe fruit. Full creamy mouthfeel with a light bitter finish and a solid banana tinge as well.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Vg nation in Lund. Black with brown head. Tastes like guinness draught, but with a fuller body and a richer taste with a little chocolate and slight sweetness to it. I think it’s more enjoyable than normal Draught.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 9, 2007 This dark brown, almost black colored beer is very interesting. Roasted malt has aroma of coffee, taste also, with oily texture and relatively long finish...some other things can be felt in the flavor, like some fruitiness or even hint of chocolate. As of one of the most famous dark beers it as I’ve said very interesting, and of course good beer, but surely there are other better stouts...

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt, nuts, and some dust. The flavor is slightly acidic from the hard roasted malt, but also with light notes of nuts, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Bottle. Pours a nice black colour with a dark brown creamy mostly lasting head. Great aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and some liquorice. Good sticky well filling mouthfeel. The flavour is smooth and just great with good roasted closed burned malt, roasted coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice and hops. the finish is roasty and quite bitter. Great brew indeed!
