Guinness on st. Patrick’s Day ! Piwo czarne z pianą która szybko opada. W aromacie słodowe i palone. W smaku karmel i czarna kawa. Goryczka bardzo niska. Piwo niskonasycone i bardzo pijalne.

I bought this beer at the coop, in front my flat in Lausanne. I used two guiness to make a kind of Irish stew and the last one to drink it. The appearance is a deep black and lovely creamy foam. The taste is malty, dry with some hop but it seems more watery thah the usual guinness than I drank in Dublin, but it is just my impresion.

Black with a decent, but quickly disappearing, tan head. Aroma sweet and roasty, with a touch of ash. Taste... kinda watery, roasty, some chalk, light body.

Coffee, roasty, some notes of chocolate, a beautiful black with a huge tan head but not very persistant, medium sweetness with a bitter final, taste is similar to the aroma...very good, maybe too sweet.

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2016 500ml can. Brewed in Russia under license. Pours black with a big tan head. Aroma is literally like someone vomited into the glass. WTF is going on here? Taste is coffee, roasted malts and sourish. Totally ruined by the awful aroma. Drank quarter of the glass and drainpoured the rest.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2016 Not a very good beer but totally drinkable. This beers really does smell kind of sweet roasted malts. Tastes isn’t very good but the "sweet" feeling of the aromas are justified by a very soft bitterness, too soft in my opinion for a stout. Palate is pretty poor, not complex at all, I’ll say coffee/malty (just like aromas). Great apperance though, you can see it’s an industrial beer (lack of yeast) but the colour and the lovely foam just makes me want to drink it. It’s an O.K. beer, I will probably not buy it anytime soon though. The "extra" stuff sounds like marketing to me, bullshit. I usually avoid beers that lack yeast deposits, I just hoped Guinness made better quality beers, because their recipes kick ass...

Guinness jaki jest, każdy wie. Sliwki, ciemne słody, lans przy dziewczynach. I chociaż w Biedrze po trójce za butelkę, to wygląda na 3x droższe, niż Piotrek z Bagien.

Butelka 0,33. Piwo barwy czarnej, nieprzejrzyste. Piana jasnobeżowa, wstępnie wysoka i drobna, redukuje się do skromnej obrączki pozostawiając jedynie łezki na szkle. W aromacie lekka słodycz (karmel, czekolada), palone słody, kawa. W smaku średnio pełne, dość wytrawne, palone, może nawet ciut popiołowe, z lekką kawowo - paloną kwaśnością przełamaną czekoladową słodyczą. Posmak kawowy, palony. Goryczka niska, palona. Wstępnie przeszkadza zbyt wysokie nagazowanie mocno odczuwane na języku.

Bottle 27.05.16. Slightly aroma of coffee, chocolate and bread. Also peas in a can and little alcohol. Dark brown coloured beer, clear. Beige two fingered head, disappears with no lacing. At tongue strong bite of carbonation. Roasty and medium sweet taste of coffee, dark bread and chocolate. Medium dry and stem bitterness. Nice, little sour aftertaste of coffee and hop. High carbonated, alcohol is perceptible, medium body, thin texture. Not bad, but nothing fancy, also with defects. Low drinkability due to over carbonation.
