0.33l bottle. Rocky brown foam, extra black color. Malty aroma, light sweet and roasted taste with impressive bitter finish. Medium body, very nice.

Dark, but watery textute, weak creamy beige head. In the aroma there are naturally roasty malts and caramel notes. Weak body (why not thicker?) with bitter and coffee flavour (but a ’wrong coffee’). The sugar rape this beer. There so many better stouts.

Bottle 33 cl. Black color with a superthick creamy beige head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, whisky, tar, coffee and a sweetness from dark sugar. Aroma is lots of roasted malt, cold bitter coffee, ash with dry finish leaving a sticky mouthfeel. Think it needs to be from the tap to really come alive.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown beer with a beige/lightbrown head. The aroma is dark, roasted and coffee. Then flavor is roasted. The palate is rosted and bitter. Overall a good beer.

ricke (476) - Malme, SWEDEN - NOV 10, 2009
Dark brown (but nowhere near black), the liquid is clear. A medium-sized off-white and rather airy head settles into small lacings. The smell is of dark malts with a gentle roasted character, and notes of chocolate, wood and dark fruits. Perhaps a hint of caramel. The taste is bland from start to finish. A fragile semi-sweet malty backbone with a mild bready and roasted character. A hint of fruitiness mixes with quite a lot of caramel. Perhaps a hint of wood. The finish is mildly bitter, but since the bitterness has nothing to play with, it seems out of place. The beer finishes with a mild hint of hops and a prominent taste of minerals. Moderate body, lots of carbonation with unpleasantly sharp bubbles. Medium-dry finish. This not good, not good at all. This might be one of the most insipid stouts I’ve ever encountered. It lacks flavor, aromas, mouthfeel, everything. It’s not bad, it’s just plain old boring. This one would stand out as meaningless in a whole universe of nothingness. Draught in Koeln, Germany, but poured by Patrick from Dublin. Black, typical storm in the glass, thick tan head. Aroma of burnt espresso. Creamy mouthfeel with an edge of roasted coffee and a hint of chocolate, bitter finish. Nearly as good as the irish version, and much better than the American one.

Black body and light head. Roasted coffee and chocolate aroma. Light sweet coffee and chocolate flavor, dry and little bitter. A good stout to drink.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity not wall adhesive light brown foam collar which was fine and evenly of structure. The beer also contained no carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a clear black color and a hoppybitter taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppybitter with a light roasted malty touch. This beer smells malty.

33cl brown bottle. Pitch-black impenetrable colour, small offwhite head that collapses quickly, no lacing. Low carbonation, creamy mouth feel. Aroma of toffee and coffee beans. Taste is semi-sweet cocoa and espresso, with bitter finish and dry after taste. Much more likeable than the regular "Guinness Draught", this one - thankfully - misses out on the Draught’s cold-coal note. Good, not great stout.

Dark brown with a lasting tan head. Mild roasted aroma of toffee, caramel and chocolate. Dry and roasted, rather thin flavour with a roasted bitter finish.
