COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For Continental Europe, to stay in conformance with the German Purity Law, Guinness produces an all-malt version, replacing the flaked barley.

Bottled, pasteurised. Dark Black with tan head. The higher alcohol still does nothing for this sad reminder of past greatness, thin wishy washy stout, harshly boiled off roasted malt flavour and dry bitterness. The serve extra cold instruction is an embarrasing admission that you might taste that it is rubbish.

Bottled. Black with an off-white head. A smoked, a bit burnt aroma. Rather lively body. A burnt flavour with hazelnut-notes.

Very dark color with a greyish head. The taste is roasted coffee and chocolate. Its kind of sweet but finishes with a nice balanced bitterness.

Boystout (1000) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - AUG 11, 2003
Classic black color and medium head. Aroma of coffee beans and caramel. Nicely bitter, roasted, oily stout somewhere in between Draught and Foreign Guinness.

Black. Nice smooth off-white head. The aroma is nothing compared to the flavor, which is nicely malty with a discrete pleasant background of burnt coffee.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2006 I like the bitterness and mouthfeel. I could drink this all night. Not as creamy as the draught version, but more fullfilling

The Guinness Draguht is definitely better than this one: it's less creamy and the flavour is not so balanced with strong traces of liquorice. Not bad, anyway.
