COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For Continental Europe, to stay in conformance with the German Purity Law, Guinness produces an all-malt version, replacing the flaked barley.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2006 I like the bitterness and mouthfeel. I could drink this all night. Not as creamy as the draught version, but more fullfilling

The Guinness Draguht is definitely better than this one: it's less creamy and the flavour is not so balanced with strong traces of liquorice. Not bad, anyway.

It’s a great stout. But you gotta drink it from tap.

madsberg (10144) - Søborg, DENMARK - SEP 6, 2002
UPDATED: MAY 23, 2004 Bottled: After been drinking Guinness draft for many years its about time, that I taste it from bottle. In comparison the bottle is no match.
The colour is similar but the head is not as creamy as the draft. The aroma is much more weak but still pleasant. Flavour has notes of chocolate. A little bitterness in the aftertaste. I miss the feeling of flatness, that i appreciate in the draft, and the bitterness is almost missing. All in all its a decent but not overwhelming stout.

slightly more strong than draft, and I think that worse than it, but still a great beer.

Yummi. Roasted coffee and grain also like chocolate nibs in there. Wonderful black with light brown head. Espressotaste with chocolate hintes. Moderate bitter finish. Syrupy and a soft carbonation. Nice Stout.

Nate (3710) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 10, 2002
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2006 Mild grainy toasted aroma with some sourness to it. Kinda metallic. Dark brown-black clear with rocky off-white head. Watery body with medium carbonation. Taste is watery with a sour mash quality, bitter coffee and grain. Mild hops bitterness and dry chalky sour after.
