nicolascage (102), Copenhagen (Virum), Denmark Aug 29, 2007 Bottle from Germany. Full body beer,, nice roasted barley taste that is not to heavy to make it an easy to drink beer without it being boring.
Dr_Funk (41), Sorumsand, Norway Jul 3, 2008 330ml bottle at a bar in Borgo San Lorenzo.
Pours just as beautifully as the draught, but slightly more exciting on the nose and palate. when can we see ths in Norway? Radek Kliber (3274), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 1, 2008 Bottle 330 ml
Appearance: dark brown ale with large thick and creamy head.4+ Nose: Soft creamy aroma with gentle dark roast hints.6+ Flavor/Palate : Medium full bodied . Very creamy texture with slight acidic side , dark roasty feel played behind. Creamy texture covered everything else which is unfortunate. I would like to see more of toasted malt here. mikkopen (77), Oulu, Finland Jun 21, 2008 330 ml bottle. Pitch black with a thick, cloudy tan head. Sweet roasted malts and some coffee & chocolate in the aroma. Watery. Dry flavour of roasted malts. Dry, bitter, roasty aftertaste. janir (119), Oulu, Finland Jun 6, 2008 Almost black color with creamy and cloudy beige head.Aroma is sweet roasty caramel malty. Flavor is roasty malty at first but finish is somewhat watery. In the aftertaste roastiness emerges again. Palate is light- to medium-bodied, a bit watery, soft and not much carbonated. phishpond417 (1110), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 29, 2008 Sampled on draught several times across europe: pours a thick black colour, with a large creamy brown top. Head is quite aromatic, roasted malts and hints of coffee. Taste is pleasent, creamy and satisfying. Semi sweet and filling.
