Black with rocky light tan head. Roasted, slightly jammy aroma. Flavour has the same, light body and a sourish note to the roasted malt. Carb is rather high, finish is bitter and slightly metallic.

StoutHead (755) - DENMARK - JAN 17, 2015
Bottle (labeled "Extra Stout" and 4.1% abv). Pours a deep red, almost black colour with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt. Taste is of roasted malt,, caramel and "that Guinness" taste. Thin and watery body with low carbonation. Not bad - it’s a Guinness - after all, but not that interresting compared to the Special Export version.

Soft black stout. Smooth and softer than other stout or porter style beers. Anyway a good one to share with friends.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2015 Much better is stronger Guinness (7,5%). This one is 5%. Anyway, nice to drink, if you forget that it is possible to buy much better beer for that money. I do not understand that politics to have another Guinness in every country. In Australia they make Guinness with 6%, in Ghana 5,5%, Panam 4,5%, Malaysia and Hong Kong, Singapore, Jamaica, Kenia, Tanzania 6,8%, Indonesia 4,9%, Ireland 4,3% and so on…

Pours almost black in colour with a good off white creamy head. You get a roasty aroma. The taste is very malty with an hoppy finish..So you get that dry feel.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a creamy head and bits of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with bit of caramel and coffee. Taste of roasted malt and bit of coffee i n the background. Mild bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body and somewhat creamy. Not quite the same as a Guinness on tap.

Una stout molto conosciuta. Colore ebano scuro, nero, con schiuma nocciola, compatta, finissima e a lunga persistenza. Note tostate, di caffè e tostato, al palato molto dolce, buona presenza dei malti. altamente beverina

Aroma: smoked and roasted notes. Appearance: clear dark color, nice beige head. Taste: medium bitterness, roasted dark malts, smoked notes, herbs, roasted caramel, acidness. Palate: low body and medium carbonation, roasted finish. Overall: Why this Guinness is so smoked ? I don’t know, but really like it.
