330 ml bottle from Jumbo, Santiago. This is a 5% abv version called Guinness Original and made in Belgium so I guess it’s this recipe. Pours a great black with ruby hues and a fantastic, beautiful beige head. Aroma is malty, roasty with notes of prunes and moccha. Taste is fine, moderately toasted with marginal sweetness. Smooth and soft in the palate but lacks power. Almost no carbonation. A good Dry Stout and much better than the one with the nitro thing.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JaKeAFC (201) - ITALY - MAR 3, 2012
33cl bottle as Guinness Original, 5%. Almost black with red-bordeaux hues under a powerful light. Beige head, reducing but lacing. Nose of toasted cereals. Aroma of cereals, roasted malts and some coffey notes. Pleasing bitterness balances initial malts sweetness and it’s a little acidic. Carbonation is modarate but sustained. Light to medium body, watery texture, fairly dry finish. A bit weak but not bad.
