A proper Guinness is never wrong at any given moment, and the bottled version of this I got on my local pub was very good. I think that this is a bit tastier than the regular Guinness Draught 4,2 ABV. But still I would very much like to try this on tap and not in a bottle.

From 0,33l bottle. Pours dark brown liquid (light slightly pass thru), small tan head. Aroma:malty, light sweet - milk chocolate, light esspresso. No sweet, medium bitter, dry, malty, roasted malts, caramel, bit watery, unpleasent metal aftertaste. Quite bad, far from I expected. Palate: light to medium body, creamy texture, average to lively carbonation, long roasted and metal dry aftertaste. Overall: quite shame. Better stouts are made on continental europe.

Black in colour with beige, medium dense head. The aroma is is pleasantly malty with roasted coffee and butterscotch notes. Quite lively on the palate with some burnt maltiness, coffee notes and a light bitterness with some crisp bread on the finish. Quite nice.

Bottle. Nose is bread, roast and some coffee. Looks pitch black with huge, large-bubbly foam. Tastes slightly sour, with characteristic bitterness. Softly carbonated, almost flat, light to medium bodied.
