A great stout. Full body and rich, just like I like it. I love the aftertaste, stays with you and is warm toasty.

This is the my personal favorite of the Guinness line here in the states. Bitter and full flavored with a solid roasty character. Lacks finess, but hey, this is a stout.

Has a thinner body compared to the draught, although still has the classic guinness head and a great bitter aftertaste. Overall better than draught in a bottle!

Draught is much better, this is more of a normal beer then a guinness. When I think of guinness i imagine more thicker then this. It is good, but nothing special

A once great beer that is slipping. While it used to be a full-bodied pleasure, the last bottle I tried was thin and a bit bland, just a shadow of the fine dry Guinness flavor.

I really quite like this stuff. Though its bitterness approaches that of acorns (don’t ask), it does have the coffee tones and complexity associated with its draught cousin.

Dark, dark brown. Almost syrupy in body. Frothy head not creamy, but carbonated. Dissipates quickly. Nose is of dark, roasted coffee with an alcoholic finish. Undertones of alcohol throughout the mid. Overtones of alcohol through the finish. Where did the roasted coffee go? Light, lingering bittering.
Earlier Rating: 12/11/2001 Total Score: 3.2
Watery, but thick, if that makes any sense. Draught is much better. About the same color, smoother, and more chocolatey. Go for the draught.

I am starting to grow more understanding of the taste of a good, dark beer. This however, is still one I despise. I think that chunk I pulled out of my teeth was barley.

Very good beer. Black as 20 year old engine oil and just as good. Very rich beer taste. Takes a true man to down this beer.
