Bottle. Pours deeper black with a small tan head. Aromas of light roast, a touch of chocolate, and some metal. The flavor is full of roast, drying coffee, and a metallic taste. The metallic taste throws it off balance and the finish is not enjoyable. Meh

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
No date here, brewed in Canada.
Appearance: A tall tan head accompanies the opaque chestnut body. The head has great retention, good looking beer.
Aroma: The aroma is a bit mild, but leans sweet with lactose and milk chocolate.
Taste: Overall a bit of a dry beer, though there are hints of milk and dark chocolate. No signs of roast, underlying dark fruit flavors are prominent though.
Palate: Light to medium bodied with mild carbonation.
Overall: Decent stout, but nothing I would brag about. This is a decent price at $2.99 for a bomber though.

All in all, a pretty nice stout. Lots of malt elements, with coffee and a slightly bitter, yet pleasant, burnt aroma. Pours well, and looks like the typical bottle Guinness.

Bottle. Near black with a light tan head that is creamy and lasting. Aroma of toasted malt, coffee, light caramel, and chocolate. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, and a light coffee. A semi sweet start that finished with a light bitter. Light bodied yet creamy.

Pours a deep ruby with a bubbly tan head. Aromas of caramel, some dark fruit, some dumpster. Taste is watery, carbonated dumpster juice. Finishes with some dirty lake water and a fist full of dumb. No.

22 oz bottle for $2.89. Just an okay stout. Pours black with a tan colored head. Looks the part. Unfortunately thatís where it ends. Smells sweet and hoppy with a bit of burnt coffee underneath. Not appealing to me. Tastes like toffee with bitterness and not much else to be found. Not quite astringent but still pretty sweet and bitter. I first had this beer about 7 years ago and was not impressed then either. Not an offensive beer but nothing worth noting.
