2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Picked up a six-pack for the first time in years because it was on sale on St. Patty’s day. Very little aroma, taste is stale and rather harsh. Improved a bit as it warmed up

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to shaker glass. Pours deep red/black, 2 finger off white head, nice lacing with some retention. Aroma of roasted malt, burnt sugar and coffee. Taste is malty sweet with a slight bitterness going on. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, slightly watery mouth feel. Finishes sweet with tasting notes of roast, salt, caramel, bitter nuts, coffee and dark chocolate. Guinness also seems to have a flavor that is hidden in the recipe that makes it taste like "Guinness". For St. Pat’s day............

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAR 18, 2015 Roast coffee and some stale funk aroma. Dark brown color with foamy tan head. Flavors of coffee, cherry, bitter chocolate, roasty and slightly bitter finish. Never can tell how long these bomber bottles have been sitting on the shelf or does INBev ferment in fiberboard drums? In my experience the version they sell in Ireland (and the British Isles) tastes better.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from 12 oz bottle into pint glass. 3 finger tan head slow to go. Lots of lacing. Malty aromas of hay and toast. Taste is lightly sweet with light to medium bitterness.very mild roasty flavor, more grainy. Little bit of a rough finish.
The Beer was ok. Overall not what I expected. Was expecting a more flavorfull version of regular guiness stout. This is more like a less smooth version. Probaly won’t bother buying again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours the part with a nice fluffy cream hued head that leaves a thick lacing coating as this is downed. Light roasted coffee, faint chocolate. Light to medium body.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Pig in Lake Geneva. Pours black but without the wonderful swirl of a draft Guinness. Damn, I love that swirl. Nose has some of the usual expected mild stout; taste the same....good but not wonderful....need a draft!

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Old rating. Poured into an English tulip pint. Beautiful deep black with ruby highlights and nice creamy beige head. Not much aroma to speak of...only a faint toasted maltiness. Well-balanced with roasted malts and slight hoppy bitterness on the finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Well I was pleasantly surprised by this brew; I actually might say I prefer this to the original Guinness draught. Although this doesn't pour with the famous nitrogen-induced cloudy head appearance, still has a solid ruby black hue with plenty of creamy head. Aroma is a little stale and bland, but has some roasty malty notes to it. The taste had a more pronounced earthy hoppiness than the standard Guinness, nice roasty malt balance as well. Smooth and drinkable, pleasant dark chocolate and bitter English hop finish. Not amazingly impressive, but I could drink this as a hearty dinner accompaniment.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from the bottle into a Guinness Stout glass. Pours dark brown with a nice khaki head. Smells like creamy chocolate and smoke. Tastes like bananas, coffee, and chocolate. Palate creamy and smooth. Overall a really nice stout.
