Bottle, shared by hopscotch. Black body with a tan puffy head, nice lacing. Roasty, chocolate nose, with caramel, lightly tart and some spicy hops. Chocolately with a strong caramel component, roasty, a little hop bitterness at the finish. Nice carb, full mouthfeel, a little dry and acidity. I could drink a lot of this!

Courtesy hopscotch. Black pour, little bits of broken white head. Chalky, sweet dark malt aroma, slight lactose presence. Thinnish palate. Mild sweet notes over slight roast, some lactose on the back end. Decent, but palate suffers a bit.

Bottle... NFL Day at dchmela’s in O-Town... This beer rocks!... Pours pitch black with a large, creamy, beige head. Fantastic retention. Although restrained, the aroma is nutty, buttery and chocolaty... rich and wonderful. Full-bodied and creamy with soft carbonation. Chocolaty, vinous and acidic. Tangy, lightly bitter finish. Thanks to douglas88 for providing this world class bottle of beer!

Thanks to hopscotch for this gem. Pours a black slightly watery color with a thin tan head. Roasty grain aroma with hints of dark fruits. Smooth malt taste, roasted grains and hints of fruit and chocolate. A very refreshing stout, very solid and something I could really drink a lot of.
