| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 16, 2008 Bottle. High fluffy lasting light brtown head. Very dark almost black body. Sweet coffee nuts vanilla aroma. Some hops bitterness comes through in the flavor but the vanilla is milding that and flavor of coffee a lot. General impression: Pretty sweet. Low carbonation. Long aftertaste. Sigmund (2283), Hafrsfjord, Norway
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 9, 2008 330 ml bottle, at the GBBF 2008. ABV was 7.5%. Served too cold. Pitch black colour, moderate head. Roasty aroma, notes of rubber, malts and coffee. The flavour is heavily roasted / burnt with grainy and rubbery notes - quite strange. I hate it and love it - simultaneously. leaparsons (4725), Leicester, Leicestershire, England
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 2, 2008 600ml bottle. Black with a beige foam. Aromas are roast malts with lots of raisin fruitiness. Also has some light woody, smoky notes. Flavours are bitter coffee followed by sweet creaminess and dark fruit. The Sorghum gives it some gluten free beer character but its far better than the majority of those. tjthresh (1770), Greenfield, Indiana, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 28, 2008 Pours opaque black with a light brown head that leaves some spotty lace behind. Odd aroma. Its fruity. Cooked raisins? Sorghum, I guess. I’m not sure I’ve ever dealt with sorghum before. Odd is all I can really say about it. Come different flavors than I’m used to as well. Dark fruit juice, smoke, lots of roast, and a bit of oxidation. Medium body, creamy, highly carbonated and dry. I nice beer. Thanks cgarvieuk. thewolf (5742), Kolding, Denmark
