Botella from thewolf. Pours a black colour with a small fairly well lasting light brown creamish head. Aroma of roasted malt and caramel with some dark fruits. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has a pleasant sweetness with roasted malt and caramel along with dark fruits, some chocolate and smoke. Roasty bit sweet finish. Bit thin but good.

325ml bottle bought at The bsf bar, GBBF. Dense, brownish head over a very dark body. Dark malty aroma. Bitter malts in taste. Rather thick, oily texture. Full bodied (05.08.2008).

Bottle. High fluffy lasting light brtown head. Very dark almost black body. Sweet coffee nuts vanilla aroma. Some hops bitterness comes through in the flavor but the vanilla is milding that and flavor of coffee a lot. General impression: Pretty sweet. Low carbonation. Long aftertaste.

330 ml bottle, at the GBBF 2008. ABV was 7.5%. Served too cold. Pitch black colour, moderate head. Roasty aroma, notes of rubber, malts and coffee. The flavour is heavily roasted / burnt with grainy and rubbery notes - quite strange. I hate it and love it - simultaneously.

600ml bottle. Black with a beige foam. Aromas are roast malts with lots of raisin fruitiness. Also has some light woody, smoky notes. Flavours are bitter coffee followed by sweet creaminess and dark fruit. The Sorghum gives it some gluten free beer character but its far better than the majority of those.

Pours opaque black with a light brown head that leaves some spotty lace behind. Odd aroma. Its fruity. Cooked raisins? Sorghum, I guess. I’m not sure I’ve ever dealt with sorghum before. Odd is all I can really say about it. Come different flavors than I’m used to as well. Dark fruit juice, smoke, lots of roast, and a bit of oxidation. Medium body, creamy, highly carbonated and dry. I nice beer. Thanks cgarvieuk.

Bottle, bought in a corner shop in Vienna.
Pours deep mahogany with a nice, creamy, beige head. Aroma is lightly fruity, pleasant black currants, roasted malts, yeast and a little bit of oak. Good, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly tart, powerfully roasted. Some coffee and pleasantly vinious. Lovely.

325ml bottle acquired in trade with douglas88 (thanks!). Poured a dark brown color with an averaged sized tan head. Aromas of chocolate, roast, licorice and a trace of dark fruits. Tastes of roast, licorice, dark fruits, and coffee. Bitter coffee finish that balanced out the sweetness.
