A black beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet, malty with strong roasted notes. An OK beer, but too sweet for my liking.

(Bottle 32,5 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Pours completely opaque black with a creamy, dense, light brown head leaving some lacework. Rather odd aroma of burned malts and a strange, unclean fruitinerss. Medium body with rather burned malt accents and an unclean acidity as well as some medicinal notes - could this be the sorghum? Burned bitterness in the finish. 140308

Bottled. Very dark black. Fruity and grainy with loads of licorice. Salty, bitter finish. Has more depth than the regular Guinness Extra Stout. Made partly from sorghum.

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a minor redish hue. Fruity/sorghum and light malt aroma. Flavour is sweet and dominated by sorghum. Light roasted malt flavour which gives an almost sour acidic flavour. Ends with a roasted note and more of the same sorghum fruity note.

Bottle 66cl @<a href=http://ratebeer.com/forums/thisted-kalder target=_new> Thisted Tasting by Maria.. Clear dark brown color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy malt bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (120408)

Bottle, 7.5%. Sweet and sour, maizy aroma. Sourish flavour with high bitterness, not too pleasant. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Bad.

Bottled. Black opaque, big brown foamy head. Roasted malt and toffee in aroma. Sweetness and roasted malt in flavour. Aftertaste of old coffee and chocolate. The sweetness is kind of weird in beginning. Also a bit hoppiness in finish.
