Small stubby 320 ml can 6.3% thanks to Tobias picked up in Singapore. Pours a deep black color with a medium grey head. A rich nose mostly of metallic roast. Rich roasted malt, caramel, metallic bitterness, iron and even a bit of saltiness. Very nice. Reminds me a bit of the Nigerian Guinness, some heavy flavors. I’ve always liked the Guinness FES flavors.

Pours viscous opaque black with big tan head. Aromas of sweet malts, toast, coffee, chocolate, tropical and pitted fruits and that Guinness sour twang. Med body med carb creamy chewy mouthfeel big bold toasty and dark fruity malt character. Finishing lightly sweet sour on the palate.

Pours a virtual black color with a decent tan head that fades to lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, some chocolate and coffee. Taste of Roasted malt, coffee with some chocolate and bit of dark fruit in the background. Nice bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Fairly full body, thick and creamy with a nice balance. Not a beer I look for in a tropical climate but this does hit the spot once in a while.

Can with a chili crab dinner. Pretty typical foreign stout: nice coffee and a nice hop bite. Word to the wise: Arthur Guinness was right, drink this chilled. Do not let it warm up.

320 ml can, at Singapore Airport Changi. ABV is 6.8%. Black colour, moderate beige head (no nitrogen). Roasty aroma and flavour, coffee notes, quite dry. Okay, but there is not much complexity here.

can from 7-11 Singapore usual very dark brown and tan head . amazing contrast to the Malysian version I had a few weeks ago in KL . aroma is dark toasted malts and taste reflects that .A very pleasant rich bitterness throughout and much dryer than other asian Foreign stouts . arguably the best brew available here

Can. Drank in a Singapore Hotel. More bitter than traditional guinness. Also less carbonation.
