Pours viscous opaque black with big tan head. Aromas of sweet malts, toast, coffee, chocolate, tropical and pitted fruits and that Guinness sour twang. Med body med carb creamy chewy mouthfeel big bold toasty and dark fruity malt character. Finishing lightly sweet sour on the palate.

(Can) Looks like they have dropped the ABV again - mine says 5.5%. Black with rather short lived tan head. Aroma of dark roast malt, chocolate and seaweed. Medium body with plenty of carbonation. Pleasantly sweet to start with notes of dark chocolate, bitterness steadily develops for a long finish. Pleasant but not exceptional.

640ml bottle. Pours black with a big head, less dense than the original Guinness, but still sticky. Slight roast notes in the aroma. Taste of liquorice and burnt chocolate, bitter. Unsatisfying finish for this rather big taste.

I had it from a 320 ml can, on a Singapore airlines flight. Great to know they have stouts in such flights – and they had the ABC stout too (their “Selection of International Beers” does not go beyond the exciting frontiers of Heineken and Tiger). Unfortunately the stout was neglected, as they had not chilled it. At room temperature it was still nice, black with a very bubbly head, medium bodied and quite blunt, roasted malts, unripe coffee berries, an acidic character and a dry finish. It did feel more like a dry stout.

Decent stout, quite full bodied for a mass market beer. The raisiny flavour kind of overpowers the chocolate.

Can. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, hop, coffee. Flavour is roasted malt, , hop, coffee, berries. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

ABV: 6.8%. Clear medium to dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sweet malt, dark malt, sugary, sweet roasted and caramel. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, sugary, roasted, sweet burnt malt, burnt sugar bitter, vegetable notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can @ Scooper Tasting in Ulfborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with small tan head. Dark, fruity and malty aroma with notes of caramel. Sweetish flavour of fruit and malt, with sourosh notes of coffee and a roasty touch. Bitter aftertaste with subtle sweetish notes. OK but nothinf really impressive.

Pours clear dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate and lots of licorice. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long licorice finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can @ Invasion U.S.A, Ulfborg 2013. Pours nearly black with a small creamy head. Sewer water, dusty coffee, vague roast and lots of syrup and brown sugar.
