| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 13, 2004 Aroma consists of heavily roasted malts (coffee/chocolate) and some cream or lactic essent. Opaque black coloured with a thin brown lasting head (not as creamy as the original guinness). Taste is heavily roasted malty, coffee/chocolate, again something creamy/lactic, quite bitter and too sweet. Even fruity this stout is. The palate is quite sticky. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of roasted bread and malt. The flavor is nicely roasted with notes of smoke and roasted bread. It really gives You the warmth - it is almost so thick that You have to chew it. A really nice beer. Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark
