2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
As expected, my bottle of mud pours deep and black, with a thin chocolate head that held steady throughout the serving. Without the nitrogen pour, the bubbles were a little bigger, of course, but the lacing was still generous. A little fuller in body, the hoppy bite was noticeable, relative to the standard U.S. Draught version. Thereís a little alcohol heat and a nice lingering sweetness, balanced by the hoppy bitterness.
While I like this better than the typical draft, Guinness is still a far cry from any number of the HUGE assortments of stouts and porters readily available in nearly any local brewpub or brewery. All in all, while this is a very serviceable quaff, Iíd prefer to drink local and fresh.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled in Ireland with Linh, Scarlett and family. Pours a deep blackish brown body with thick tan head. Mouthfeel is medium with notes similar to other Guinness variants - light cocoa, soft roast and faint lactose/milk character. This seemed to have a bit more sweetness behind it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at Brussels. Interesting but kinda old school but I guess that should be expected with an old classic. Full bodied, creamy roast coffee and barley.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I prefer Draught, but at $2.50 for a pint of it, you canít complain. Smells of coffee and malt, pours a deep black (they call it the black stuff for a reason) Tastes like Draught but a little watery.

Ok non Ť la guinness alla spina che si puÚ bere nei pub di dublino, ma tra quelle prodotte in bottiglia della guinness Ť la migliore.
