3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from a SaveMart. Pours brown with a slight beige head. Mild caramel aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is roasty with a hint of ginger or some sort of spice. Very mild hint. Thereís some vanilla, I think. Give it this - there is a lot of flavor compared to the macro lagers. If it was the only thing available, Iíd drink it.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Dark, woody red, with the thinnest of macro-style heads. The aroma is toasty and maybe a little caramel. Drinks with an upfront bite of toffee, but settles quite quickly into a fairly empty character. Unoffending in any way, this is a simple, even-keeled ale for the masses. (#4829, 11/24/2012)

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Dark red-amber pour with a tan head. The aroma has some strong toffee notes and not much else. The flavor is a mix of toffee, grass and some odd, hard to nail down spice notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tallahassee, Fl - Publix Supermarket - Mahan - 12 oz bottle - part of a holiday 12 pack mixer. Very dark copper pour, thick sticky khaki colored head - nice looking beer. Aroma is distant, pick up some brief unsweetened chocolate notes, a hint of vanilla. Flavor has some caramel notes, a nice underlying mellow citrus bitterness and a back end trace of vanilla. Mouthfeel has a nice thickness to it. Pretty solid.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy off-white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a strongly carbonated transparent dark copper brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The aroma was brown malt and musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The thin flavor contained notes of brown malt and hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Filtered looking amber-red-tan body, this lacy off-white head. The aroma is not so impressive, factory dry lifeless toffee. A sort of boring, mineral-dry amber- brown ale. Not really up to Guinness standards, this is sort of tame and uninspired. Medium bodied, drinkable, but all around unappealing.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear mahogany brew, bone colored head, good embossed bottle, styling label. Malty aroma. Pleasant UK brown ale flavors. Tannic, lightly sweet, some light fruit, bitterness sneaks up and builds over the session. Medium body, mildly sweet finish. Thanks to PorterPounder for the trade.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle and rated on 11-17-2012. This beer poured a small, smooth ivory head that mostly diminished, fair amount of lacing, transparent body, slow-rising carbonation, and an amber hue. The Aroma is malty, caramel, notes of toffee, nutty, and vanilla. The Flavor is malty, caramel, notes of vanilla, and has a light hoppy finish. The Mouthfeel is lightly tingly and this is a medium bodied beer. Overall, this is a quaffable Amber Ale and a beer that I would consider drinking again.
