4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a good beer! Nice roasted barley flavor with a hop taste at the end. I dig this beer too bad itís only available in a variety pack. I would love to be able to buy it in a 6 or 12 pack!

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
This stuff is not unexpectedly bland in boring. If thatís what you were expecting, congratulations, you win nothing. It is nice looking at least with a clear red color and creamy, foamy head. Unfortunately, it smell faintly of overripe and doesnít taste like much of anything. There is a touch of toasty malt and a hint of earthy bitterness but thatís about it. This is a medium bodied beer and almost flat w/ very little carbonation. It is only a little sweet thankfully so it is still fairly drinkable but honestly I just canít see myself wanting to have another one of them.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Has malt bready spice aroma. Dark almost black and ruby colored body. Has a thick two fingered foamy head that lingers for a while. Much like the Guinness Draught in taste but has a maltier presence and thinner feel. Mild spiciness. Leaves a smooth creamy feeling.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours (can) a clear, deep amber with a medium off-white/tan head, moderate lacing. Malty, caramel aroma. Taste is mildly sweet, with a light/medium bitterness. Light bodied, slightly oily. Finishes with a mild bitterness. Overall, nothing flashy, satisfies but does not deliver quite as expected.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
A brownish color brew that had tannish head. Aroma of caramel malt, pine, and spice. Flavor is the same. A sticky ale, heavy on the malts.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Light brown brew with decent head that fades off pretty soon to nothing. Smells of cream, metal, spice. At first there is the toasted malts but soon after that is dominated by a funky hop. Sorta herbal with a bit of pepper. Thin and watery and for the price not something I would purchase again.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a 14.9 oz can, part of a Guinness Sampler 8 pack bought at the local Harris Teeter. Pours a clear brown color with a thin tan head. Aromas of sweet malt, a little grass, a bit of roasted malt. Taste is sweet malt at the start, rich, transitions to a finish of roasted malt. Very enjoyable, glad I got to try this one this winter.

Part of a Guinness limited edition variety pack. Poured from a can. Great appearance, high frothy head, nice dark red appearance. Vanilla notes but otherwise a fairly standard ale.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Ruby brown color with a good sized beige head that went down fairly quick. Once the head diminished the aroma was sweet fruity malt and mild medicinal hops. Flavor is creamy malt followed by dry, spicy hops and a creamy, smoky, bitter finish. Medium bodied with a very mild carbonation all combine to make this something Guinness has mastered; very smooth and easy drinking but still satisfying. Loved it.
