Ungstrup (11353), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 25, 2002 A pitch black beer with a beutiful head. It doesn’t have much aroma but hints of smoked malt. The flavor is that of smoked malt with some hop bitterness. All in all a very drinkable beer among the more fullbodied beers. Papsoe (10267), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 28, 2005 Updated: Jun 13, 2005(Bottle 33 cl) The quintessence of Irish beer - no less. Pitch black with a pretty brownish head, albeit no nitrogen in this bottled version. Very dry, almost ashy with a lasting bitterness all the way through. The mother of dry stouts....Mine was 5% ABV. 101200 oh6gdx (6331), Vaasa, Finland Aug 4, 2008 Canned. Deep rubyish black colour with small off/white creamy head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, some bitternessas well as ashes. Flavour is all the same with a quite mouthdrying finish.
