Dark brown opaque with a medium size and medium lasting not that creamy a beige head. Faint roasted malt and bready aroma with hints of sweet smokey varnish, charcoal and bitumen. Lighter in body palate and flavours than the draught. Medium strong short bitter start and slightly sweeter smokey middle and a medium stale bitter finish and aftertaste.

Bottle 25cl. A dark beer with medium head, nose is on brown caramel and brown bread. Aroma is on brown caramel too, chocolate, loght sourish background, roasted malt body, medium creamy. Near to the classic foreign extra, fine.

loco_gallego (95) - SWITZERLAND - SEP 20, 2014
Stout noire; brune-rouge foncée. Mousse beige disparaissant rapidement. Faible carbonation.

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2014 0,33l bottle. Well I guess Guinness is one of the best- known beers. I couldnt drink it everyday, but from time to time its quite ok.

Zapach z butelki: Karmel, kawa i skórka chleba. Piana: Jasnobeżowa, drobnoziarnista, dość szybko opada do cienkiej warstewki. Kolor: Ciemnobrązowe, klarowne. Zapach: Kawowo-karmelowy. Skórka chleba, cukierki trufle, trochę wiśni. Smak: Kwaskowe, kawowo-karmelowe. Odrobina likierowości, w tle posmak mydlany. Wytrawne, bardzo niska podbudowa. Wyczuwalny alkohol. Tekstura: Lekkie, wodniste.

Alengrin (2085) - BELGIUM - AUG 18, 2014
Bottled Guinness, intended for the English market and often regarded as the most faithful Guinness. Thick, creamy, dense, deeply beige head, deep blackish brown colour with ruby hue, only visible under bright light. More refined and complex aroma than Guinness Draught from tap, delicate, black coffee, raisins, caramel, black pepper, nutmeg, dried plums, iron, something woody. Smooth caramel malt taste quickly making place for a soft but assertive, mouth-filling roasted coffee bitterness, woody and a bit oily, some peppery hops in the finish. More than decent, exemplary for its style.
