If you were in a pub sometime between 1821 and 1970, chances are this is the Guinness you would have been drinking. Originally brewed as the XX version of our Porter, itís hoppy, roasty, and crisp, with a bittersweet finish.

11.2 ounce bottle from the Brewers Project Pack purchased at a Costco. Looks like this is a US debut maybe? Dark ruby tinted brown, large frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of muted roast. The taste is chocolate, caramel, cocoa, mildly fruity finish. Thin-medium bodied, smooth, high carbonation.

Butelka 0,5 z datą ważności do 22.04.2016, temperatura degustacji 14 stopni +, szkło Irish imperial pint. Aromat: ciemne pieczywo, w tle czekolada, nuty kawowe delikatne (latte).

One of my favorite beer of all time! Itís my very first stout I had and I got hook after that. Itís really easy to find in my local area (Bangkok) which I donít have to travel to some specific bar to drink it. Itís such a nice beer creamy taste to it for me. <3

Can. Nice maltiness, light roasted, caramelly, with pale malts shining through. Simple, quaffable beer, seems to be a tad more bittr than the continental version. Quite good.

Poured from a bottle marked Original XX. Pours a perfectly into a pint glass with a sizeable head. Tastes like a stout and like Guinness really. Slightly more complex then the draft version though and a perfectly pleasant, but unspectacular brew.

Black beer with a decent beige head. Flavour is typical stout: coffee, malt, chocolate. A touch of fruit in there as well. Quite rich in body but it does have a very slightly watery edge to the flavour. Nice, malty aftertaste.
