Pours black colourt with a thin head. Citrus hops and a toasted aroma top the thin mouthfeel. Roasted malt flavor was dry without bitterness. No real depth, but not bad.

bottle . very dark brown colour and lingering tan head - not as dense as draught though. aroma is roasted grains and coffee . taste is quite bitter with a coffee hint . overcarbonated for me - not as smooth as draught . Becomes more refreshing as palate acclimatises. I prefer the Foreign stout variety

Overall this is an okay stout but probably the worst of all Guinness stouts. It has relatively weak aromas, flavors and body.

Bottle 33cl. Brew in belgium. Aromas a levadura, muy maltosa y notas licorosas. Corona tostada y muy consistente. Color casi negro y brillante.

Bottle 0,33l bought in Bratislava. The stout poured a rich brown color with tan head. The aroma of burnt coffee and malts was noticed at first. It had medium bitterness and body. Very average carbonation and finished smoothly with a hint of bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at a brewery tour in Dublin. Learned how to pour the perfect pour and learned I mostly received unsettled imperfect pours in the past. Could not detect a difference from our version. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Regards must go to my boss, who ’happened’ to be in Dublin on March the 17th this year and very considerately bought this back to New Zealand for me. Biggish tan head on a black beer with lighter body and russet notes. t’s intriguing to see the difference nitrogenation makes. The head becomes rocky and subsides into the beer in due course. The classic Guinness smell of dark malts, roasted barley and one too many in the bar is still there, but fresh and, I don’t know, cold? To taste it is definitely thinner but the standard coffeeish roasty stout that if I was tasting blind I would call porter. I would still love this beer even without the cult status. The difference now is that I feel that I can brew something equal or better. However, I still love this beer.
