Can at home. It was in the 50 cent bin at my local ABC. Yes! Nose is sweet caramel malt, a hint of roast. Thatís it. Flavor is similar with sweet notes, a hint of hop, a creamy body, and a lightly roasted flavor. Very drinkable. Not bad.

Tall pint can from a four pack bought at the local Harris Teeter in Huntersville, NC. Pours a deep amber with a nice thick tan head. Aroma is also nice with some sweet malts. Flavor is roasted malts with a nice clean palate and drinks easy to the finish. A good seasonal offering from Guinness.

Can. Nitro. Dark ruby beer with a tan nitro head. Light roast aroma. Malt and light sweet flavor with light roast. Medium bodied. Malt and light roast lingers with light sweetness.

Clearish brown coloured body with a bright ruby glow at the very bottom and a nice, two centimetre tall nitrogenated light brown head - nice. Aroma of nuts, earth and a funky stale malt flavour throughout with a little sweetness. Medium-bodied; Assertive caramel and earthy malt flavour with very little else, except for some light bitterness. Aftertaste is mild and one-dimensional, the earthiness and caramel is noticeable, but the lack of other good flavours and complexity especially make for a decent beer, if that. I sampled this 50 cL can purchased from Harris Teeter in Falls Church (Skyline), Virginia on 06-December-2013 for US$5.99/4 pack (US$1.50 each pint can) sampled at home in Washington on 29-March-2014.

Quite interesting. New type of Stout from these guys. Takes a while to pour as any other Guinness but nice to drink.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer and Beyond shop. Thanks beerandbeyond. Reddish light brown. Old honey, plastic, some chocolate and hay aroma, light bitterness and lightly roasted taste. No carbonation, watery, light-bodied.

Is this supposed to be a dry stout? Maybe its in the wrong category - tastes like a black and tan made with Guinness draught and Bud light. I suppose the difference is supposed to highlight the honey like fresh barley flavor, but its not coming through, at least in the shipment I got. all points lacking on Guinness draught except a mild bready flavor in the malt profile - fresh harvest hops would help tremendously here. Guinness would not have made itself famous with this beer

Dark copper pour outta a nitro can. Big pillowy head that dropped down to a thumb. Lacing crawled over the glass.Aroma is faint sweet bread. Taste is the same with some nice malt sweetness in the finish. Mouth feel is watery but malty sweet. Not bad easy to drink. Worth a look.
