2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear, dark garnet-tinted brown pour with a 3 finger, super creamy (poured from nitro widget can), beige, slightly pinkish head. Aroma is light toast, roast, coffee and butter. Flavor is sweet malt, light nuttiness, buttery toffee, overripe tree fruit, a little mild roast coffee and some mineral and metallic notes. Palate is thin watery and a little syrupy, with nearly no carbonation and an off dry finish. Not very good similar to Guinness, in several ways, but not nearly as good. They can stop it with the Nitro Widgets any time now.

Dark copper pour outta a nitro can. Big pillowy head that dropped down to a thumb. Lacing crawled over the glass.Aroma is faint sweet bread. Taste is the same with some nice malt sweetness in the finish. Mouth feel is watery but malty sweet. Not bad easy to drink. Worth a look.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Nitro can sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks beerandbeyond. Clear deep amber color with a milky head. Aroma of some chocolate and light roastiness. Rather bland flavor, sweetish, with hints of caramel, chocolate and a slightly drier finish. Really watery mouthfeel. Watery and bland.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
One the best looking beers to date. Pour is black but as the head sets it goes from bottom to top black, gray then a soft and fluffy off white head. Aroma is soft and a little weak but nice. A lite and smooth stout with a little bit of fruit.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Crystal clear light copper/amber with a slight reddish tinge and that beautiful Guinness nitro foam. Still smells like Guinness but with a lighter, almost lager-like aroma. Taste is mildly of Guinness stout with a definite but not overly done honey sweetness. Body is thin and creamy just like itís namesake. Thereís toasted malt, but no char at all. Finishes clean and sweet. A nice easy to drink beer thatís a stretch as a stout, but tasty nonetheless.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
nitro can, pours typical Guinness, black color, thick tan head. thick lacing on the glass. Slight aromas of roasted malt, coffee. Taste is slightly sweet , faint bitterness. It did lack a finish to the taste. Overall, not bad, I prefer the extra stout much better.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Guinness Red Harvest Stout present the traditional Guinness cascade, and it sets up with a creamy, cream-colored head (medium width), a clear, reddish-brown appearance, a lacing sheen, and lots of tiny bubbles that stream up, if the glass is agitated in any way. The aroma comes alive as the beer warms- very creamy, medium-roasted malt, caramel sweetness, and toffee. Taste is of very sweet, sugary, bready malt, caramel, cream, and a mellow hop bitterness to balance things out. Mouthfeel is medium and silky, and Guinness Red Harvest Stout finishes semi-dry, sweet, smooth, and delicious. RJT

Pretty clear brown color---but totally bland! Sweet malt flavor. Advice: Skip this and have some "sweat tea" instead!
