2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jbuzz (700) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 15, 2007
This one looks better than it tastes. I like Reds but this one misses for me. Not as dark as the original Guinness. But not as red or flavorful as I felt it should be.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Jukkabro (3473) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 29, 2007
(Draught) Dark red colored, thick medium sized "Guinness-head". Aroma is lot like basic version: cream, caramel, smooth sweetness and fruitiness, hints of raspberry comes up too. Flavor is also creamy with slight hops, sweetness and caramel.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 reakt (946) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 18, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 24, 2007 Draught from O’ Neill’s. Dark amber/mahogany in colour topped with the trademark off white foam. Nose of roasted malt with a taste to match. Slightly sweet with underlying bitter hop and barley notes that shine through. Baking chocolate comes to mind. More watery than expected but enough creamy Guinness character to just about pull it off. I had two pints from the same pump only poured by two different people. The first was actually quite nice but the second, as mentioned by most, was tasteless and I think the glass was a bit grimey by the way the bubbles clung to it. Anyway, still a nice twist on a classic.

Draught. Not much flavour. Watery, with the same old crappy creamy Guinness thing. This had NO flavour. I can’t say anything more about it.
1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 Ostrovni (17) - ENGLAND - MAR 12, 2007
First of all, this isn’t as red as it looks in the promo pictures - if you hold it up to the light alongside a normal pint of Draught Guinness (which we did), you will see a difference, but otherwise it looks brown. The body is definitely a lot thinner, and the whole thing is more soupy and frankly a bit of a mess. There’s no aroma, there’s very little flavour. This really is swill. By the way, its a stout, not a bitter. Just a very odd stout.
2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 DonMagi (5599) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 23, 2007
Pours with an enormous guinness nitro head, colour is more brown with a hint of red coming through if you put it to the light, unlike the phots you see which look like an alcopop. There is no aroma. Taste is a touch of spicey yeasty, touch of plastic, i cant find to much malt character, but theres alot of sugary sweetness hidden behind raw bitterness. The yeasty flour is weird i cant figure out what it is, i wald the mile home by the Tennants factors to try and figure it out and all i have now it dry chapped lips from the amount of sugar used. Not really my deal, but probably better than Guinness draught these days.
