Bottle from Delhaize. Jet black with a decent tan head. Big roasted aroma with a slightly sweet edge. Sweetish, almost fudge-like flavour to start, quickly replaced by dark fruit some burnt malt and a surprisingly smooth finish. Excellent.

Bottle, from Noel Cuveliers, Abele. Tons of airy tan head on an iron black pour. Nose is grilled steak, a steak rubbed with black pepper and coffee. Some popcorn, raisins. Soft roast, buttered rum, salty finish. Fairly light body but with an interesting oily touch. Pretty nice FES.

Thanks to ygtbsm94 for giving me the chance to try this. Smell was slightly fruity with some roast. Taste was roasty, nice bitterness throughout, some ripe fruit and a nice bitter finish. This stuff is solid. Wish this replaced the regular guinness.

Bottle. Deep dark brown colour with a lingering beige head. Sweet roasted aroma with hints of chocolate, coffee and alcohol. Flavour is more of the same, full bodied and with some sweetness. Bitter finish. Really very good and the best bottled Guinness out there by a mile.

2008-04-04. Black body with a big foamy tan head (4+). Dusty malt at first in the aroma, Ovaltine notes or mocha, muted underly malt, muted dark fruit notes. (7+) Similar flavour with a dry dusty note to the roasty mocha malt flavour, muted dark fruit in the back ground. (7+) Smooth average to medium palate. (3+) Nice. Bottle from Bier Tempel, Brugge
