4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tiefschwarz mit recht beständigem hellbraunem Schaum. Geruch: Tolle Aromen von Röstmalz, Karamell, getrocknete Früchte. Sehr einladend!

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
33 cl bottle @ home. Pours a dark brown, almost black beer and brown head. Strong aroma, roasted malt, chocolate, brown sugar, coffee, mokka and some dark fruits. Taste starts off sweet, followed by bitterness and some sourness. Palate is too lively, should be more creamy.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330ml bottle. Pours black with generous off-white head. Taste is rich and smooth with a nice sweetness ahead of bitter roasted malts. Hardly recognisable as Guinness, beefed up with flavour and infinitely more drinkable. This is Guinness brewed to it’s full potential.

The taste is rich roast, bitter-sweet, molasses, earthy, chocolate malt, maltesers, toasty, light alcohol, chocolate ice-cream and liquorice with a small tan head. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Nice bitter-sweet balance to it. A solid beverage for sure.
