It is a typical stout or we could say maybe a kind of porter. The taste is like a sweet coffee and caramel but there is a side bitter. It is a tasty beer even the fact that guinness is a multinational. The quality is average or more, hundred times better than a heineken.

Bottle. Dark body, medium beige head. Aroma has rich roast with hints of high roast coffee. Sweet yet also a bit astringent roast in taste. Sweet cream coffee flavour with side tastes of dry cocoa powder and licorice. Resembles some Imperial Stouts but the body is not heavy and oily - it’s drinkable like a beer should be. Good one. In my world, people would boycott the regular watery Guinness Draught and demand it to be replaced with this one.

330ml bottle. Very dark brown color. Huge size, thick and creamy tan head, stays. Roast, caramel, sweet, tiny bit of molasses in aroma. Nice roasted malts, candy caramel, sweet in taste. Long lasting sweet, almost ashy, roasted malts in aftertaste. Roast bitterness on tongue. Nice brew!

800th rating and one if the last missing styles in my list. Black color with big tan head. Roasted malts, a bit metallic (not irritating though), some fruitiness, can?t quite tell which one. Taste is roasted malts, some fruits again, burnt. Some chocolate. Dry finish. Low carbonation, feels a bit buttery. Full-bodied and dry at the same time. This has much more flavour than the classic Guinness, but the drinkability suffers a bit.

0,33L bottle (from beerExpress, Tallinn). Pours dark brown-black with light brown head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is salty, metallic, roast, malt. Flavor is sweet, bitter, roast, metallic, buttery, with licorice and burnt notes. Finish is roast-malt bitter and has some alcohol. Overall: solid brew. A lot better than the regular Guinness we get here.

Bottle back at the room. I love that Belgium has it’s own Guinness. Must be the only European foreign export. Pours Black with a Beige head. Advanced charred malty sweetness on the nose. Lots of roasted malt character but with fruity sweetness and a hit of booze. Chocolatey charred bitterness. There’s a lot going on. I’m a big fan of the non-traditional Guinnesses. This is probably my favourite.

Tiefschwarz mit recht beständigem hellbraunem Schaum. Geruch: Tolle Aromen von Röstmalz, Karamell, getrocknete Früchte. Sehr einladend! Empfehlung!

Aroma: roasted smoked notes, coffee, dried fruits. Appearance: dark color, nice creamy head. Taste: acid and smoked, roasted dark malts, dried fruits, bitter chocolate, coffee, semi-dry, bonfire. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, ashy rosted finish. Overall: Really good stuff, nice smoked notes and deep compex taste.
