3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The color is black with a fine light brown head. The flavor is licorice, slightly smoked, and sweet. The flavor is very sweet and slighty smoked. A good Guinness but too soft for my liking of a stout.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2005 2005-05-21, 6-4-8-4-15=37
Black color; nice creamy head. The aroma is quite cheap, roasted malt, both metallic and Madeira (?). Very strong taste, good structure, good roasted malt, plus malt, caramel, pretty good hopping. Very enjoyable, forget classic canned Guinness.
Dark color, beige foam. Quite light nose. Interesting body structure, some sweetness well hidden by loads of caramel, followed by the roasted and hop.
