Very dark brown body with nice tan coloured, pillowy head. Cereal, cheese, roasy yet not very expressive. Certainly different from the normal tap Guinness. Sweet caramel malts, not at al what I expected, but quite nice actually. Bitter aftertaste. Did not expect this... It’s a Belgian ale! (33cl bottle from Bierparadijs)

More like the old guinness. The normal one (Draught edition) is a weaker version of the classic i remember. This one is more thick and oily with more flavor, like it should be imo :)

6/IV/13 - 33cl bottle from Delhaize @ proeverij bieren uit de supermarkt, Gentse Biervereniging - BB: n/a (2013-308)

Very dark brown to black beer, creamy beige irregular head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: some caramel, dairy, hay, grains, stable. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: some caramel, grains, dark chocolate, mocha, bit cheesy, stable. Aftertaste: cocoa powder, mocha, bitter hops, bit sourish, cheesy touch, more dark chocolate, coffee.

Nectar noir !

Room temp bottle. Jet black with a cm of foamy head which lasts about a minute. Smells sharp, yeasty - not very inviting. Flavour starts malty, finishes smokey with a bit of yeast. Mid body and foamy in the mouth. Usual coffee/chocolate/roasted barley flavours are absent. It’s an average stout.

Deep black colour with a dark brown, thick head, long lasting. Smells roasted malts, coffee and burnt bread. Taste too, but is a strange bitter/sweet together. Round finish, less dry than usual Guinness. A background taste of smoked a nd burnt, coffee bottom also. Full bodied, and low/medium carbonation. Alcohol completely hidden. A nice beer, interesting, but a smoker would like it better than me :) anyhow, a good beer.
