3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: sødme, malt og alkohol. Tydelig, og knap balanceret alkohol. Blød med god carb. Sødme, tørret frugt, karamel. Lidt tung, lidt for sprittet.

2.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very malty nose, pours extremely light colour for a quadruple. Very plain, haylike flavor, not much depth. Big letdown, being a regular consumer of the "regular" gulden draak.

Bottle from Gman courtesy cwsample. Pours a slightly hazy amber orange color with a light white head. Aroma is slightly buttery, light malty sweet, some odd fruit notes. Flavor is dry, biscuity, clay and yeast. Finishes tingly with Belgian fruit and sugar.

Bottle. 33cL. Home. Gift from ET and NG. A dark mahogany beer with a white ephemeral head. Aroma of caramel, alcohol, spice, smoke, fruits (apricot?). Heavy smoked sweetness with light bitterness. Nice body, oily, warm finish. A teenage fire-eater dragon.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
330ml bottle into a Trappist glass; served cool.
Aroma: Fresh yeast, lots of malt. Quite boozy. Subtle and gentle, but nice scents present.
Appearance: Pretty elegant; a hazy, dark rust body with a very creamy off white head. Excellent lacing.
Taste: Lots of bready malt, but also incredibly, incredibly boozy.
Palate: Medium body, long, long boozy finish.
Overall: Might be too much for me. Super super boozy and makes the other flavors kind of get lost.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very nice. Pours orange with decent head and lacing. Florals, tangerine and some coriander. Very light notes of prune, and some of pear. Soft carbonation, big Belgian yeast aroma. Booze well-disguised. Finishes with light sweetness. Palate isn’t as big as a quad could be, but still a solid drink. Bottle.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
I truly thought that Gulden Draak could not be improved upon. I was wrong! This stuff is the hammer of the gods!
Aroma - smells of strong, dense fruits with a bit of an alcohol smell.
Appearance - beautiful pour with a thin head and dark body.
Taste - complex and thoroughly tasteful. Lots of up front fruitiness with a little bit of burn, but everything is tied together nicely.
