3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle served in Duvel snifter: Pours a coppery hue with an initial large frothy white head that does fade a bit, okay lace. The aroma has notes of banana, apricot, peach, dusty earthy esters, some alcohol and candi sugar, and caramlized biscuity malts. The taste is a touch sweet and fruity with a dollop of spicy notes on the finish. Unlike many Quads this does not have the character of Special B malts nor the overall depth. Seems more like an amped up Tripel with all the same yeastie notes. The mouth feel is smooth and moderately carbonated with some boozy warmth as well. Gotta admit I am a bit disappointed in this beer, was expecting something it failed to deliver upon.

Gulden Draak 9000 Quadruple is rich and malty. Beautiful dark amber pour with a thick tight head. Aroma is all malt. Taste is all malt and heavy but without the alcohol bite (especially for the ABV.) Not much complexity, but enjoyable just the same. Draak 9000 is a nice quaffable Belgian that will leave you satisfied.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
11.2 oz. bottle from Pringles. Appearance: 3 fingers tan head, orange golden color, cloudy, ok lacing. Aroma: fruity yeast, light green apple, basement, Palate: light medium body, average carbonation, thin texture due to alcohol, decent warming. Taste: sweet fruity yeast into caramel malt with fruity undertones lasting. Very unique and lovely balance. Really a good beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Amber with medium off-white head. Sweet-sour honey aroma, same for taste. A biite note follows and remains on the tongue root, while the sweetness remains on its first half.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
A nice toffee, fairy floss smell in which you can smell the alcohol. This slightly rusty banana taste like a tripel with a bit of an alcohol burn on the back of your tongue, probably shouldn’t be sold in a 6 pack!
I really like it. But it must be noted that Leffe blonde is my favorite beer, and i love a good blonde or tripel. I would buy this again.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
LCBO bottle BB 02-09-2015. Pours translucent deep amber. Lots of white head. Nose is fruity, apples and caramel. On the taste I get some citrus, apples, pears, grainy malt, mild bitter finish. Some booze.
Not a typical quad, but a nice sipper.
