3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 maledictum (555) - Pyongyang, NORTH KOREA - JAN 30, 2012
I was a little disapointed with it. Recently had the regular Gulden Draak and liked that one much better. Tasted of raisins and plums with a hint of spices. A little too carbonated and the flavors were muted. Not bad, but the regular Draak was better.

Pours light amber with a couple fingers white head. Light fruity aroma. Very strong red fruits. Little alcohol taste. Decent carbonation. Pretty good Belgium.

Vintage 2010 bottle. Muddy brown-amber with a tiny beige head. Aroma of caramel, ripe fruit, sugar, yeast, and alcohol. Taste is malty with a wine-like sweetness, boozy and ever so slightly metallic. Medium-full bodied without much of a finish. Not impressed.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MacMoney (735) - Alabama, USA - DEC 31, 2011
Bottle, BBE 09092012. Pours a dark, auburn amber with a medium, off-white, large-bubbled head. Aroma is sour and alcoholic with prune, dark cherries, sweet, syrupy maltiness. Taste is a bit sour as well. Malts, alcoholc, some dried fruit and spiciness, mostly caramelly maltiness. Palate is very carbonated, medium. Aroma makes you expect a lot, but the taste is just very one-dimensional.

draft at Blue monk, Buffalo. Caramel colored pour. Red wine aroma, raisins, other dark dried fruits, grapes add to solid aroma 7+. Sweet raisiny flavor, quad like features, taste a little dusty or old. Creamier mouthfeel. Pretty good

In bottle; aroma was somewhat sweet, poured dark brown. Tried this side by side with Delerium Noel and would say I enjoyed this beer more. Medium body, almost a carbonated feel and taste. No major notes stand out but a good easy drinking beer.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 teddybeer (1484) - Madrid, SPAIN - DEC 25, 2011
33cl bottle. Dark brown with frothy tan head good lacing and perfect lasting. Aroma is spicy dry fruits and alcoholic. Flavour is nutty brown sugar dense on palate with a long final bready buttery and moderate sweet. Carbonation is soft. Body is light. From my point of view Gulden Draak is much better than this one.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 RD400F (101) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 25, 2011
Aroma: kinda gross...grainy, boozey, faint spices and raisin bread.
Appearance: Transparent dark amber with a chunky off white head.
Taste: Spices, malt, some gingerbread and raisin. Kinda weak though...there’s a soury bitterness which doesn’t bode well with me.
Palate: Watery, unbalanced, thin and a little awkward in the mouth.
Overall: Not horrible but it could use a bit of refinement. Otherwise a bit too average.
