Thick head, diminishing until a small creamcoloured head remains. Complex taste, hints of coffee, cacao(dark chocolate), Bitter finish, longlasting. Despite the high percentage the alcohol is not dominant. NIce. curly (575), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jun 22, 2009 Brown with a small off-white head. Rich yeasty aroma of dark dried fruits, malt and various spices. Fruity sweet flavour, caramel, figs and cherries with quite a bit of alcohol. Too much carbonation for my taste, almost hurts on the tongue. WVHouseofBeer (357), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 10, 2009 Pours semi transparent dark red/brown, dissapearing head leaving a little froth. Aroma is yeasty, fruity, sour and a fair bit of alcohol. Taste is fairly sweet, plenty of fruit, cherries, stawberries, lots of yeast. Finishes sweet and slightly hoppy, mild alcohol (very little considering the strength). Well balanced, Very enjoyable.
