Commercial Description:
Gulden Draak is a dark brown Triple Ale, which makes it an exception among the Belgian Triples. The second fermentation offers the nice creamy head, the full body and all the vitamins of the centuries old brewers yeast. It is a "thick" beer, that you can actually "eat" to adventure the complex taste. Gulden Draak balances a natural malt toffee-like sweetness with a mellow happiness and some hoppy accents. The aroma is round, sweet and reveals the 10.5 alcohol by volume.

Bottle. Ruby amber in colour, small off white head. Heaps of caramel, toffee, burnt sugar thing going on, some red cedar too. I didn’t actually "eat" it, as the description recommends, but i got a bit of the mellow happiness.

Ruby-brown with a big tan head. Sweet malts, fruit and some yeast in aroma. Ultra rich flavor, heavy on the brown sugar and dark crystal malts. Also some earthy notes- plums, raisins, and a nice touch of alcohol. Big and full, with a sweet finish.

Nice beer that balance the high ABV with a malty body and tons of flavour in a good way.

gracias ramenend en la pepeshka con el pollo y david y demas familia. yo les dije que eran las bujias, pero marineros de agua dulce no hacen caso. la birria es casi tipo brown, solo que mas dulce. rica

Dark pour with huge carbonation. Fruity, alcohol and nut aroma. Same in flavor with a spice finish. Pretty damn good.

Dark Triple some say, and here you find it under quadrupel, as JanVittrup said, "Coca-cola dark brown, filtered, no head". you can smell a good deal of alc, spices, young wine, rasins and orange.Taste is very heavy, caramelic malt, flowers and fizzy orange , spices, ginger and cinamon, quite complex but I expected more smoothness. It is agressive and has the kick. 10 % whoa. I already feel the power after a few deeper sips. All in all one of the best for sure

Coca-cola dark brown, filtered, no head. Sweet aroma, complex but not explicitly so. Quite discreet. Some alcohol, but not at all like the pale triples, much more balanced by the malt sweetness. Ends well - suspect some implicit hop action. Thick! Fantastic! Fizzy. I Really like this beer. Not as complex as I had hoped, but Great!

Bottle. Pours cloudy brown with a big foamy tan head. Aroma is malt, dark fruits mainly raisins, a little caramel, anise and alcohol. Flavour is malt, orange peel, anise and spices with a warm alcohol finish.
