COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Gulden Draak is a high fermentation beer with secondary fermentation. For the secondary fermentation, wine yeast is used. The white bottle, the black banner, the golden dragon and the red letters, constitute a stylish result that has no equal among the many Belgian special beers. Gulden Draak can be drunk as an aperitif or dessert, or whenever you have the time to sit back and relax. But this barley wine is also perfect with and in stews, especially the Ghent variety. It is also a plus in sauces for red meat, such as a bordelaise. It is particularly suited as a dessert beer, especially in combination with dark chocolate.

W aromacie nuty owocowe, winne, tarninowe, cukierkowe. Smak słodko kwaśny, nuty miodowe, wyraźny alkohol dość przyjemny i śliweczka :) - bardzo pozytywny quadrupel bardzo smaczny i bardzo siecze :) W zasadzie jest to chyba najlepsze masowe piwo belgijskie jakie dotąd piłem. Jedynie te nuty miodowe mącą nieco.

0,33 l bottle from EDEKA Mohr, best before 16/6/2016. Clear, dark red with a huge, foamy, slowly diminishing, tan head. Sweetish-fruity aroma of raisins, prunes, dark cherries, cane sugar and molasses with a boozy note and minimal hints of dark chocolate. Very sweet taste of raisins, prunes, cane sugar and molasses, followed by a long, warming, alcoholic and slightly bitter finish. Full body, oily mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent Strong Ale and very much like a doppelbock. Could be even more intense, apart from the alcohol. Not that complex though.

Chocolate brown color or perhaps a red almost black board with ruby tones are beautiful in tulip. In fact, its proprietary tulip with the vessel Dragon Viking is a trim. A marvelous guise of this beer. Since the shape of the bottle as your dress. Cream is beige, high to medium formation and relative durability. Aroma fruity, with red fruits, raisins, port wine, plum, banana, roasted coffee, fig, and a discreet and unexpected scent of flowers. In Flavor noticed a whole body, very carbonated, with strong notes of red fruits, toasted malt liquor, port wine, raisins and a medium bitterness and a rare and reasonable sweetness dueling with a salty subtle. Alcohol is inserted into the well environment and does not extrapolate the balance despite its firepower. It is significant that all these elements are in great harmony. The aftertaste is striking and as previously said his body is medium, velvety texture and very plain. the end Hop "clean" taste. One of the most respected and appreciated Belgian Strong Ale.

Bardzo duże wysycenie. Wyczuwalny rozgrzewający alkohol. Goryczka słaba. Barwa piwa rubinowa. Lekko mętne. Piana słaba - nietrwała, zbudowana z dużych pęcherzy. W aromacie przede wszystkim owocowe - coś jakby czereśnie, alkoholowe, troszkę ciemnych, słodkich słodów, delikatnie karmelowe. Z butelki wybitnie czuć za to gruszki. W smaku lekko kwaśne, owocowe. Czuć słodycz. W kwestii wyglądu dodaję punkcik za fajne opakowanie i dobry kapsel.

Aroma is dried fruits (plum, raisins), some bubblegum and herbs, bit boozy. Could be more intense. Dark amber colour, white not abundant foam. Dried fruits are playing first fiddle also in the taste, caramel and booze is also there. Overall good.
