Deep amber color. Looked like an ordinary barley wine. Smelled like apple juice. Not exceptional but I was happy drinking it. It may have been the sweet malty taste or the Dead playing a rocking Row Jimmy, China>Rider as Klima and Edmonton lit Quebec up

A dark brown color with a thin, white head. The aroma is sweet and yeasty. Apple, orange, honey, raisin, and some alcohol. The flavor is quite sweet, cloyingly (sp?) so. Fruity sweetness with yeasty bread and alcohol to balance. This didn't really do it for me. A dark, yeasty, overly sweet triple. Not again, thanks.

A decent Belgian Ale. A nice round, a bit too sweet, taste. The white bottle with the dark label are an eyecatcher. But the beer itself is less excentric than it suggests

Had too many strong ales at this point, but if tipsy memory serves...Brown Coloring...ruby/red as well... Head that won’t die...not as bad as delirium though... I’ll go with the plums/raisins...not real bad..but nothing distinctive.

Less than impressed by this monster with the alcohol going way OTT. Tone it down a bit, and you have something actualy drinkable... [rated from memory]

bottle 750ml: pours with a very lively tingley looking off white head that diminishes quickly that lingers into a thin line above a dark brown body. aroma very nice fruit and sugar aromas a little amount of sour funkiness behind all that is some caramel malt. nice fresh apple scent. flavou ris a bitter start with some caramel malt and an almost rotten fruit taste. not nearly as good tasting as smelling. finia=shes bitter with an aftertaste.

Dark color with thin head. Fruiy, maybe raisins, taste. Tasted more like liquor than beer. Too much alcohol presence for my taste.

*did not mind would not buy*
smell: fruits nanners sweets. typical. to many nanners maybe.. maybe.
app: fine. nice ruby garnet hues to a lite brown ale. flavor: tastes much more gold then it looks, i was wanting more dark fruit flavors. its a fine ale. down the middle lacks magic. this is like a bud for a gnome. palate: could be more fluffy. OA: its good, ok average so so.
