Aroma is complex with hints of toffee, spices, yeast, and carmel. Gigantic chewy mouthfeel. Hold this one in your mouth for awhile and let the flavors come out, its amazing. The first thing I tasted when I swallowed was Ethanol, and quite a bit of it. However, it didn't burn like I expected, it just wasn't hidden as much as I'm used to for the style. The finish is very long lasting, with some tart notes and hints of hops, toffee, and carmel. Worth the price. HighlanderOne (547), Somewherein, New Jersey, USA

Smells like french toast - nice. Deep mahogany color with tan, persistent head. I taste raisin, cocoa, vanilla, fig, brown sugar, and, of course, alcohol. Mellowed nicely as it warmed, and finished amazingly well. Another great Belgian ale. joet (1709), Fulton, California, USA

The taste is sweet and medium roasty with a mildly effervescent tang and a cleaner feel than the sweetness would have you suppose. It could be the acidity... The finish is alcohol pepper on a pale round hoppiness. If it didn’t deliver such a punch in the gut, this would be very underrated. outlaw99 (14), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Nice mouthfull, fuller than its competitors, and the 10.5% alcohol really does the trick. I’m a big fan of strong booze. radiomgb (2076), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada

Aroma is fruity, caramel, sweet. Flavour of sweet, caramel, alcohol kicks in near the end. Finishes bitter probably due the the high alcohol content. TheBeerGod (3177), Newport News, Virginia, USA

Very dark brown with hints of red. Spiced with caramel-ish, choclate tastes. Strong taste of alcohol is evident but not surprising. Sugary as well. Tastes great after it has been aged. HIGHLY recommended to Belgian beer lovers or strong beer lovers. AndersR (194), Århus, Denmark

The smell gives away that this one holds 10.5%. Hints of fruit mand sweetness. Strong taste with sweet hints of caramel, flowers, fruits and a complex finish that warms the throat.
The foam actually tastes good on its own, try it :-)
