330cl bottle. Pours dark red, almost brown with an off white, long lasting head. Sweet aroma with some sour-esque belgian yeast smell. Flavor is malty, alcoholic and rich with the characteristic belgian yeast taste. Hops balance it all very well. A very good quad, although my personal preference would still go to the Urthel Samaranth.

Pours a clean, bubbly head. Very dark Amber in color, like mahogany. The beer is great smelling, great looking and makes a good first impression.
Taste is clean, strong, and surprisingly sweet. Almost like a sweet Chimay. I wouldn't say this is an "anytime" beer, as you need to have room in your belly and a thirst for a heavy sweet drink.
A great beer for the right mood.

330 ml bottle. After tasting the brewmasters of gulden draak I expected something else then this, but it’s just as good as their brewmaster beer! Expect a dark brown cola coloured beer. Tastes like raisins, chocolate, small bitter, spice and some alcohol heat. Thanks to the alcohol you feel a bit heat in your throat like the breath of the Dragon, great stuff!

Surprised it took me so long to try this. It's good but far too sweet and sugary for me.

Very tasty strong ale, one of my favourites. The caramel, chocolat and sweet smells and taste are awesome Spite the 10,5º alcohol you hardly notice it.

Decent quad style ale, but not nearly my favorite. In particular the Aroma and taste were OK but nothing really standing out. Just your typical Belgian mix of yeast, hops. the taste was also a bit boozy for me, and the complexity not impressive enough to really give a rich flavor in the mouth. Overall it is a respectable beer for sure, but nothing special by any means.
