Thick bubbly head on ruby red pour good carbonation,misty thick beer.Aroma,honey syrup,caramel port wine,strong malt.Flavour rich banana notes maybe ginger,caramel syrup port wine(plum)raisin,liccorice,figs,raw sugar taste,mild chocolate malt,finish mourishingly tasty dry,tops,thick,n,lovely.

Jul 8, 2008 Decent brew.Pours a dark reddish brown color with a foamy tan head. Aroma of bread, dark fruit and malt. Taste is sweet, with a medium mouthfeel and very lively carbonation. Finishes with a decent amount of spicy sweetness. Would drink again.

Jul 7, 2008 Bottle Pours out a mahogany topped with a nice head. Aroma of sweet caramel and pit fruit. Tast more of the sweetness. Some syrup and pit fruit. I also picked up plenty of malts.

Jul 6, 2008 Dark color. Very carbonated. Smell of prunes, nuts, alcohol, caramel, brown sugar, figs, plumes, spice and bread. Taste of prunes, nuts, hops, alcohol, caramel, brown sugar, figs, plumes, spice and bread and roasted malt.

Jul 6, 2008 From bottle. Pours a velvet brown with a big lively tan head. Quite attractive. Smells of clove, cinnamon, allspice, and caramel malt. Big syrupy palate, with rich flavors. Flavors are heavy on the dark fruit (perhaps cherry and plum),with sweet touches of sugar. Finishes sweet with hints of champagne, and is loaded with spice and fruit so as to make this big beer balanced and tasty. Really nice beer!
