Grassy hops and light, sweet and sour caramel malts. Acidic and resinous as it goes down the throat.

Compared to Star, Club, and ABC Gulder can be the best. I say can because a lack of refrigeration causes a lot of inconsistency. When fresh Gulder is a modestly flavored ale. When skunked it’s not great but does its job. Though it is not as good at its best as Gulder I chose Club when possible because at least in Accra it is decent and a lot more consistent .

Certainly one of the better lagers. Very close to what you are used in English pubs when poured into a pint. Clear colour, mild flavour, no hangover. Better than many european bottled beers. Nice big bottle as well. Compared with other African beers the best (followed by Star). So Ghana score should be 5/5.
